Wingmen offers men Acceptance, Affirmation and Accountability.

Wingmen is a gathering of men with the purpose of forming transparent, Christ-centered, masculine relationships. As Wingmen, we offer men acceptance, affirmation and accountability.

Wingmen is unique in the fact that it is not an accountability group, bible study, or networking group. It is an entity that emphasizes relationships above all else. Relationships with Christ first and foremost and then relationships with other men. Our name, Wingmen, was purposeful in that fact that using military visual pictures/analogies are a powerful tool to bring home the idea of the need for masculine relationships in our lives as we conduct warfare and “spiritual maneuvers” in our daily spiritual battles. We do not dance around sensitive topics – pornography, addictions, over working, and abuse. We are a safe house — a place to get off the front lines and seek a reprieve/respite before jumping back into the battle.

History Of Wingmen Ministries
Wingmen Ministries began in 2002 when two men met to share their life’s experiences as husbands, fathers, businessmen and followers of Jesus Christ. Shortly after that initial meeting, more men were invited to join in on the “journey.”   As the numbers increased beyond the available space of a kitchen, a local restaurant was found to help accommodate the growing numbers of men whose intention was to grow deeper in their faith and to build transparent, Christ-centered, masculine relationships with one another.

We now meet in a local convention center due to the ever-growing number of men who come seeking acceptance, affirmation and accountability in our lives.

From September through May, we meet every other Friday morning from 7:00am to 8:30am, as a corporate group. We bring in dynamic speakers to share their experiences and life lessons as Christian businessmen, leaders, athletes, and members of our armed forces. On “off weeks,” men get together in what we call Elements, our version of small groups. Each Element is organized by a volunteer, who has it on his heart to facilitate the discussions. Each Element is separate and individual from each other and from the corporate structure. This allows flexibility for the movement of the Holy Spirit, allowing for uniqueness in each small group. We do not dictate the agenda of Elements and welcome new leaders wanting to start new ones.

Mission And Purpose

We are a non-denominational group of guys striving to get closer to God. Our mission is to bring men together in Christ.

Our approach is twofold. We hold two different events – Corporate and Elements. Our Corporate events meet every other week and allow for a casting of the net for men to invite other men, co-workers, and business associates to attend. At this event we will expose men to fellowship with other men that is Christ centered, masculine worship, testimonials, relevant and engaging speakers that have “draw appeal”, and finally prayer.

Our Elements meet on the opposing weeks from Corporate. The Element groups provide a more intimate way for men to develop and build relationships. Elements are the glue to bind the men in unity and cohesion. In essence, we are forming spiritual “tactical units.” Because when you have gone through adverse conditions and situations, you have “bled” and battled along side an individual you will not disengage and flee the fight.

Values And Beliefs

We value relationships. Our primary relationship being with God, which we experience through Bible, prayer, our circumstances and the church – which is not brick and mortar but people.

Leadership

“Our leadership team consists of many individuals who live out servant leadership. As men, we are all called to be leaders in some capacity. We’ve had numerous individuals who have contributed to the growth and development of Wingmen over the years. We continually seek men who are willing to carry forth the vision that Christ has called us to, as men.”
– Chad Hennings, Founder

Freddy Arnoldt says:

I attended my first Wingman session today. I had met Chad after a talk he gave at our men’s breakfast at Compass Church and was discussing a men’s accountability group that I am apart of with my friend Rick Kostler and he invited me to attend Wingman. I was blown away by the meeting I attended today. This is something I want to be apart of. If you need additional prayer partners or any thing else I can do just let me know; I’m in
