Jim Sherrill presented us with an opportunity to participate in revitalizing a home with our Wingmen brothers to aid those less fortunate who’s homes are in need of repair on Oct 16 and 17.
CPR and house #14 was a great success thanks to the Wingmen’s humble obedience to service. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed good fellowship . A lot of servants hearts and high quality attention to detail left house #14 looking worlds better than when we found it. We scraped, caulked, replaced rotten wood, painted, planted, trimed trees, mowed and weed eated, removed a small tree and a trailer full of junk from the back yard, and replace two outdoor light fixtures. The home owners were thrilled!
Thanks to all the Wingmen who was part of the CPR house 14 effort. We plan to do it again at next spring’s CPR Blitz.
More than any other single way, the grace of humility is worked into our lives through the discipline of service. – Richard Foster from “Celebration of Discipline”.
